Apple tree Pruning course day, join us for a hands-on training session at Amber Valley Vineyards in Wessington, Derbyshire in January and February 2026. A short but fun and intense workshop with plenty of hands-on orchard experience on the art and science of apple tree pruning with expert guidance from Mel and Dave from The Leicestershire Heritage Apple Project. Due to the popularity of these sessions we’ve expanded to two sessions for 2026

An informative and practical two-hour tree pruning workshop led by Mel and Dave, key founder members of LHAP (Leicestershire Horticultural Artisans and Practitioners). With over 20 years of experience under Mel's belt and 8 years under Dave's, this workshop is tailored for those new to the art of grafting.
