Orchard Markets

Rural Markets in the Heart of Derbyshire in the Beautiful Amber Valley...

Our Markets are on one Saturday of each month from April through to October.

Bringing great local food and drink producers, artists, artisans and makers together in a beautiful rural setting.

The market is in our beautiful heritage apple orchard and hay meadow on the outskirts of Wessington in the glorious Amber Valley, a truly rural and perfect setting for our artisanal markets. Dog friendly and accessible.

And in 2025 we're holding yet another Midsummer Night's Market, which was such a hit since 2022! We’ll also look to hold another Twilight Autumn Market in October.

2025 MARKET DATES

Cancelled/Postponed

Saturday 4th October 3pm till 7pm Twilight Autumn Market

We will decide on Monday morning if there shall be a rescheduled Twilight Market on Saturday 11th October

At our Amber Valley Vineyards in Derbyshire, we take immense pride in promoting local artisans and producers. Since 2020, we have been hosting monthly Summer Farmers Markets and Artisan Markets in our picturesque orchard. We also host a Midsummers Night Market in June and a Twilight Autumn one in October.

Our markets are a celebration of local talent, featuring a range of high-quality produce, crafts, and unique items, all set against the backdrop of delightful music (at our Bank Holiday August weekend market) and a wonderfully convivial atmosphere at every market. Well-behaved dogs and their humans are welcome (they must be on leads - the dogs that is).  Please be aware you are responsible for your dogs behaviour.

At the heart of it all is our orchard pavilion bar, where guests can savor our exceptional wines and ciders, perfectly complementing the vibrant market scene. Our artisan events, especially the key one in August, are not just markets; they're a testament to our commitment to the community and the beauty of the Amber Valley.

We're all about getting back to the essence of what a good market should be.  High quality, set in a lovely location, promoting local producers sustainably amidst nature and trees.

October is the final Orchard Market of the year, dedicated to local producers and artisans in our beautiful orchard overlooking the gorgeous Amber Valley.  Our markets are a firm favourite with people coming from near and far.
