Orchard Markets

Rural Markets in the Heart of Derbyshire in the Beautiful Amber Valley...

Our Markets are on one Saturday of each month from April through to October.

Bringing great local food and drink producers, artists, artisans and makers together in a beautiful setting.

The market is in our beautiful orchard on the outskirts of Wessington in the beautiful Amber Valley, a truly rural and perfect setting for our artisanal markets.

And in 2024 we're holding yet another Midsummer Night's Market, which was such a hit since 2022! Our first market date is in April 2024 and we’ll hold another Twilight Autumn Market in October.

Our 2024 Market Season

At our Amber Valley Vineyards in Derbyshire, we take immense pride in promoting local artisans and producers. Since 2020, we have been hosting monthly Summer Farmers Markets and Artisan Markets in our picturesque orchard. We also host a Midsummers Night Market in June and a Twilight Autumn one in October.

Our markets are a celebration of local talent, featuring a range of high-quality produce, crafts, and unique items, all set against the backdrop of delightful music (at our Bank Holiday weekend markets) and a general convivial atmosphere at every market.

At the heart of it all is our orchard pavilion bar, where guests can savor our exceptional wines and ciders, perfectly complementing the vibrant market scene. Our artisan events, especially the key one in August, are not just markets; they're a testament to our commitment to the community and the beauty of the Amber Valley.

We're all about getting back to the essence of what a good market should be.  High quality, set in a lovely location, promoting local producers sustainably amidst nature and trees.

October is the final Orchard Market of the year, dedicated to local producers and artisans in our beautiful orchard overlooking the gorgeous Amber Valley.  Our markets are a firm favourite with people coming from near and far.
