These are are our Scheduled Tour Dates for 2024. These are now bookable. All tour times and dates are in the dropdown menu. Simply choose the date or time that suits you.

Our scheduled tours take around an hour and a half (sometime a bit longer depending on questions) and are led by Barry, Amber Valley Vineyards owner and vigneron at our Little Vineyard in Wessington, which overlooks the beautiful Amber Valley. We explore the vineyard year and the trials and tribulations of growing vines in Derbyshire. Tastings then follow in the glorious Orchard (in or around the Pavilion) or in the old stables Cellardoor tasting rooms if the weather isn't quite up to it!
Damp chilly days are warmed by the wood-burning stove in a lovely atmospheric setting in the cellardoor - but this depends on Group size as space is limited.
You'll hear all about our how our wines are grown and made and we'll tell you about our future plans.
There's an added benefit to booking these tours because as a thank-you for supporting us by taking a tour we pass on a great discount to our tour guests on purchases of our wines.
You can add Picnic box or Cream Tea box for after your tour has taken place so you can relax and enjoy the orchard for longer and enjoy your wines! Once you've added your tour date to the basket go back to the store and find Picnic or Cream Tea boxes and select the corresponding date and add to your basket. By scrolling down you can add multiple picnic or cream tea boxes and even boxes for one.
Remember, these tours can be given as gifts too, just look in our shop for Gift Tour Experiences and Booking couldn't be easier.
NOTE: Tour tickets are sold as tickets for one (£20 each) but the picnic boxes are sold as boxes for two, with options for boxes for one, if one of you is a veggie for example.

Please note that we usually cannot accept picnic/cream tea boxes booked with tours within 7 days of the dates due to ordering catering etc. Please contact us first if you wish to do this.

There is ample on-site parking.

Please note the sunset tours are £25 per person and these experiences include an arrival drink. If buying this option please ensure you have correctly ordered the correct additional number of those date options at the additional cost of £5 per person.

PICNIC AND CREAM TEA BOX OPTIONS:

Filled with locally sourced and homemade produce these picnic boxes are hearty and delicious. All the pork for homemade sausage rolls and scotch eggs is from Paul Walker Butchers, Oxford Street, Ripley. All eggs are free range eggs from Heage Eggs. Coleslaw and sliced meats are all sourced locally from a quality independent delicatessen. The boxes are lovingly created for us by Wendy, at a local family business Honey Bee Bistro, Ripley.
