Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku)
Forest Bathing – Guided Orchard Walk
Forest bathing at Amber Valley is a small-group, guided experience designed to help you slow down and reconnect with the natural world. Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku , sessions take a science-informed approach to wellbeing, focusing on attention, sensory awareness and time spent outdoors — without spiritual or therapeutic claims.
Sessions involve gentle walking, pauses for noticing, and quiet time among trees, vines and meadow in our regeneratively managed orchard and vineyard. There is no fitness requirement and no expectation to talk or share.
Our first forest bathing sessions are planned to begin from January 2026, with a mix of weekday and weekend dates.
First dates: Wednesday 21st 10am till 12pm and Saturday 24th 10am till 12pm
£25 per person per session. Add from drop down list for the date you want. To add more than one person simply press 'Add More'
Winter sessions, fire & shelter
During the winter months, sessions may include time gathered around a contained fire pit, offering warmth, stillness and a natural focal point for reflection. A hot drink will be provided, and our wrapped pavilion allows sessions to begin and end comfortably whatever the weather. Fire use is weather- and condition-dependent and always carefully managed.
