Tours are not cancellable nor transferable within 7 days of the booking.

We accept that circumstances can change, and that in extremis, you may need to alter your date and we will do all we can to facilitate that as long as at least 7 days notice is given. 

Dates are listed on the website and these should be consulted and a new date chosen first before contacting us (this will be subject to availability). This saves time and a back-and-forth correspondence that is costly in time terms for a small business such as ours.

Please be aware that if your tour has a picnic or cream tea box and you want to change the date within 7 days of your tour start your new date will not contain that picnic or cream tea box, this is because our caterer will have ordered your ingredients and this is our notice period with them.  You will lose that picnic or cream tea box order.

We have recently seen a high number of requests for changes within 7 days of a tour date and this is challenging for filling spaces on tours at short notice, especially as we have a high number of certificate spaces to fulfil and honour.

If you make a request for a change within the 7 days window we reserve the right to refuse that change as pressure maybe placed on other tours and spaces available and the need to fill those tours to be viable.  We will try to accommodate if we can, obviously, but there are circumstances when we must apply a refusal stringently.
